Educator Preparation
Established in 1922 (with the first courses beginning in 1923), 51ĀŅĀ× began as one of the first Normal schools in Kentucky and continues as a teachers' college today. Our history and foundation in educator preparation speaks to the well-knit fabric that is the College of Education and Human Services.
51ĀŅĀ×'s educator preparation programs are accredited by:
- Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) - formerly, National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)
- Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB)
