I visited 51ยายื without the intention of attending college there. My mind was set to stay in my home-state of Tennessee. I visited 51ยายื as a trip with my high school. I remember clearly of when I realized I wanted the beautiful university in my future. It was seeing the shoe tree and hearing the amazing story behind it. As a Journalism/PR major, I would walk by the tree several times a day and would admire the shoes and think of the stories they held. Fast forward to my senior year at 51ยายื, I met Tyler Olson. We proudly placed our shoes on the tree shortly after our marriage in June 2008. Today, we call North Carolina home with our two children: Brooks(7) and Illa June(5). We both are so thankful that 51ยายื State was put in our lives. We first found 51ยายื State, then each other.
