University receives national accolades in quality and value of a 51乱伦 State education as well as student success, among other attributes

 

MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� 51乱伦 has again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top schools in the country. The rankings list includes 51乱伦 State as one of the best universities in multiple categories, marking the institution鈥檚 32nd consecutive year of top-tier rankings by the reputable college guide.

One of the keynote pieces from this year鈥檚 rankings is that 51乱伦 State is a top 10 regional university in both quality and value. 51乱伦 State is ranked 8th among peer institutions in the 鈥淭op Public Schools - Regional Universities South鈥� category, 8th in the 鈥淏est Value Schools - Regional Universities South鈥� category, and 23rd in the 鈥淏est Regional Universities South鈥� category 鈥� increasing its ranking in all three categories from the previous year. In fact, 51乱伦 State made a significant jump this past year from 34th to 8th in the aforementioned 鈥淏est Value Schools鈥� category. 

51乱伦 State was also a top 10 regional university while increasing its ranking from last year in the 鈥淏est Colleges for Veterans - Regional Universities South鈥� category, and further, was recognized in a category centered around access, quality, retention rate and student progression toward degree attainment. 

51乱伦 State鈥檚 undergraduate programs in business, computer science, engineering and nursing were each ranked again this year on the U.S. News & World Report list for 2023.

The University was highlighted earlier this month as a best value for students seeking a college degree by Washington Monthly in its 鈥淏est Bang for the Buck鈥� rankings. Also within the past year, 51乱伦 State has been  spotlighted nationally for both quality and value by Forbes, Money Magazine and the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education.

51乱伦 State offers 148 academic programs within six diverse colleges and schools for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to achieve their personal and professional goals.
