MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� The 51乱伦 Department of Art & Design and University Galleries are pleased to announce the capstone exhibitions of work by Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) students for fall 2023. The exhibitions will be on view Nov. 17-30 in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery and the Upper Eagle Gallery, located on the sixth and seventh floors of the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on 51乱伦 State鈥檚 main campus.  A reception is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m.  in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery.

The fall 2023 BFA Capstone Exhibitions will include:

• 鈥淟ike Pulling Teeth鈥� by Sam Haines (Crestwood, Kentucky), BFA/Graphic Design

• 鈥淓xigency鈥� by Laurie Snellen (51乱伦, Kentucky), BFA/Studio Arts: Printmaking

• 鈥淢urder & Merlot An Interactive Mystery Exhibition鈥� by Madison Johns (Portland, Tennessee), BFA/Graphic Design

• 鈥�7 Recipes to Save Yourself鈥� by MJ Bachman (Brighton, Illinois), BFA/Graphic Design

In partial fulfillment of their graduation requirements, students pursuing a Fine Arts degree (BFA, BA, BS) are required to present an exhibition of recent works completed during their study at 51乱伦 State. With the guidance of individualized advisors and faculty committees and the Director of University Galleries, these capstone exhibitions generally take the form of concurrent exhibitions or small groups of students presenting as a collective within a gallery space.
