Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at 51ĀŅĀ×, is on display at the 51ĀŅĀ× Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.

51ĀŅĀ× invites community to A Taste of the Arts

The 12th annual A Taste of the Arts fundraising gala will be held Thursday, October 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the 51ĀŅĀ× Room of the CFSB Center. A Taste of the Arts showcases the many talents of 51ĀŅĀ× students in Art & Design, Music, and Theatre Arts while providing fine dining and a live auction for attendees. The event gathers 51ĀŅĀ× State supporters and alumni along with community members to celebrate excellence in the fine arts at the University.

51ĀŅĀ× State Theatre Arts program opens season with children’s play, Androcles and the Lion

The Department of Global Languages and Theatre Arts at 51ĀŅĀ× is pleased to present its first show of the 2021-22 performance season, Androcles and the Lion. All performances will take place in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre in the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on 51ĀŅĀ× State’s campus. Performance dates are Wednesday, September 29 at Noon; Thursday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m.; Friday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m.; and Saturday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m.
